NFTs stand for "Non-fungible tokens", but this probably sounds more
confusing than clarifying. Simply explained, an NFT can be thought of as a
unique digital asset with blockchain-based ownership that users can buy, own,
and trade. While the leading use cases of NFTs have been seen in the
‘tokenization’ of digital art, this is only but a glimpse into the disruptive
potential of NFTs in the digital era of human civilisation. NFTs can be
engineered through smart-contracts to the limitations only of our imagination
(and programming skills) - think exclusive access to websites, event tickets,
game items, ownership records for physical objects, intellectual property…
This list can go on.
To sum things up, not only does your NFT serve as a ‘certificate of authenticity’, it also acts as your ‘members-only’ access card to the most exclusive of clubs. The NF Honey Badgers club is as exclusive as it gets.
Metamask is a crypto-wallet (available both as a web browser plugin/extension as well as a mobile app) that can store your Ethereum and all Ethereum based tokens (including NFTs). You will need to create a Metamask account if you do not already have one, as this will be needed to purchase and mint an NF Honey Badger. Once you have an account, you shall be able to view your unique Ethereum address - this is where your NFT will be stored upon minting. If you are making a new Metamask account, remember to securely note down your ‘SecretRecoveryPhrase’. Learn more about Metamask and how easy it is to use over here!(https://metamask.io)
Once you have your Metamask wallet set up either as a browser extension (currently supports Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge) or through its app on your phone (Android/iOS), you will need to top it up with some Ethereum in order to mint an NF Honey Badger. If you need to first purchase some Ethereum in order to transfer it to your Metamask wallet, you can use any reputable cryptocurrency exchange platform whose services are available in your jurisdiction. A few popular examples of such exchanges are Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, KuCoin, FTX etc. Make sure that you transfer some surplus Ethereum into your Metamask wallet over and above the amount you require for minting (0.05 ETH per NFT), as you will be charged some ‘gas fees’ by the Ethereum network for minting your NFT(s). The exact gas fees that may be levied would depend on the network congestion at the time, but have a little extra Ethereum in there just to be on the safe side so that you secure your minting.
If you are using a desktop or a laptop to mint our NF Honey Badgers, all you need to do is connect your web browser’s Metamask plugin/extension with our website by clicking on the ‘connect to metamask’ button on the top right hand side. Once our sale is open, you shall be able to easily select how many Honey Badgers you desire to mint and simply click on the ‘Mint’ button which shall be made readily visible on the website. If you have enough ETH to complete your desired transaction, your minting transaction should go through in no time and your brand new NF Honey Badger NFT shall be sent to your Metamask wallet address associated with your account. You will be able to see your NFT, visually, on Opensea once you connect your Metamask account to it
You can mint an NF Honeybadger by downloading Metamask’s Android/iOS application and accessing the website through its built-in browser. After installation, launch the Metamask app and login/sign up. Click on the menu bar (the 3 lines on the top left of your screen) and select "Browser". When you access www.nfhoneybadgers.com via this browser, you can click on the ‘Connect to Metamask’ button in order to connect your wallet and to start minting!
